Fishing and smoking in weed, what pipes work best – bongs, dab rigs, hand pipes?

Fishing and smoking weed are two of my favorite things to do with friends and family; if you do it correctly, they can be even more enjoyable but can sometimes be difficult without the right equipment. Pipes that fit in your tackle box or just in your pocket can make life on the lake much easier and even more fun! In this guide, I will be sharing some of my favorite fishing and smoking implements so you can get the most out of your next trip out on the water or just around town, relaxing with your bongs! Many people still wonder whether to use dab rig, hand pipes, or other things. Let us find out!

How to choose a suitable pipe for your smoking habit?

While you may choose to purchase a pipe for its aesthetic appeal, functionality is likely your primary concern. If you’re looking for a great all-around pipe that won’t break your budget, you can’t go wrong with Acrylic. Acrylics are smooth hitters and incredibly easy to maintain due to their resistance to heat or breakage. Most acrylics offer large bowls while remaining remarkably light and portable. More importantly, they are cheap, so if one gets lost or damaged, it will not hurt your pocket as much as other materials such as wood or glass.

Glass pipes for quality

You can get a simple pipe for burning concentrates. They typically feature a ceramic disk at one end that you heat with a torch and drop your concentrate onto. You then use an acrylic straw to inhale vaporized concentrate smoke through holes on the side of the pipe. If you’re not willing to shell out much money and don’t want to draw attention, these weed pipes online are your best bet.

Gas Pipes Come In All Styles

There are so many various types of glassware available that it’s easy to get overwhelmed. There are multiple sizes, styles, and variations on almost every kind of pipe imaginable. As you peruse your options, think about how you want to use your pipe and how you want it to look. Do you intend to smoke with friends on special occasions only, or are you looking for a daily piece that will be passed around a circle of friends? Is discretion essential, or is aesthetics more of a priority? The answers to these questions can help guide your search for a great pipe.

Water Pipes Are Quieter Than Bubblers

If you’re going to be able to hear yourself think while on your fishing trip—not just see fish jump but really think about your life—you need to get a quieter setup. For starters, ditch that bubbler for an herb grinder. Bubblers are much louder than water pipes because their percolation chamber is exposed to air—and more surface area means more noise. If you’re going with water pipes specifically (it’s not just bongs), choose one with a domeless downstream or a built-in splash guard (these will help prevent ash from getting everywhere). And if it doesn’t have one of those things, don’t rule it out altogether—add your splashguard after purchase.

Best Pipes for smoking weed and doing fishing

Sherlock Hand Pipe

Some people don’t like to get water in their mouths when they smoke. A Sherlock pipe is a style of a glass pipe with a small mouthpiece that creates a vacuum on your lips, making it impossible to inhale water by accident. These are great if you have high standards for your tobacco because you need to take slow and deliberate draws to avoid water splashing up into your mouth. It also aids in keeping impurities out of your bowl, allowing apparent rips every time.

Dab Rigs (aka Oil Vapes)

If you are into oils and e-liquids (cannabis or otherwise), these devices have grown in popularity as a way to smoke without actually having to light up. They’re especially popular with medical cannabis patients who want an efficient way to medicate. A typical oil rig has an atomizer attached to a glass water pipe with a mouthpiece at one end. The atomizer is usually powered by butane (also used in lighters) or sometimes even electricity—don’t worry, it won’t shock you! When you draw on your rig, the liquid is heated and converted into vapor which gets pulled through your water pipe before entering your lungs. Terp Slurper is also a good option to try out.

Glass Steamroller

You’ll typically have two choices when it comes to smoking: glass or plastic. Glass is a much better choice because of its durability and ability to stand up to heat. The only downside is that glass can break if dropped or handled roughly. But there are ways around that! You can wrap it in bubble wrap for easy transport between home and your favorite fishing spot.

Chillum

A chillum is a form of pipe used for smoking tobacco or cannabis. It is straight with a rounded bowl on one end and can vary in length from five to eighteen inches. A typical kuttyweb chillum contains 6 inches of tobacco or cannabis; however, they come in longer varieties up to 18 inches. The chillum’s rounded bowl makes it easy to hold comfortably when lit. Because of its small size, there are not many modifications that can be made to these pipes, making them rather simplistic as far as hand-pipes go. Its small size makes it easy to carry around discreetly. Also, because it does not filter smoke very much, some users use several at once to produce more enormous hits quickly if needed.

How Do I Decide Which Pipe to Choose?

There are so many different types of cannabis paraphernalia that it can sometimes be overwhelming. Bongs, bubblers, water pipes, chillums, and countless other options which you can use to smoke your favorite herb. But as with anything in life, there are always a few stand-outs from among all of these seemingly endless options. So we hope our guide provided here will help you decide on the pipe that suits your style and budget.
